About this event:
Join Mad Science of Chicago for a fun and entertaining Science Fair workshop.  Participants will learn about the scientific method, how to choose an environmentally friendly project, research and conduct the experiment and report results and conclusion.  Each child will also get a specially created guide to use in putting together a science fair project. 

This 45-60 minutes program is for children in grades 4th and up. Registration is required.

About this event:
Join us in celebrating Native American Heritage Month with our social featuring American Girl, Kaya, an adventurous Nez Perce girl with a generous spirit and a love of horses and nature.  Come learn about Kaya's culture, hear some stories, play some games, share a snack and make a craft to take home in this all ages program.

Registration is required as space is limited to 20 children.  Reserve your spot by calling 312-747-7381 or stop by the library to register.  All children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

REQUIREMENTS
1. 18 Years of Age or Older 17 years of age for Senior High School
Students (must provide students I.D.)
2.  Two forms of I.D. including one photo I.D.
3.  Must provide a valid Driver’s License
4.  Photo Copy of Birth Certificate.
5.  Photo Copy of Diploma or G.E.D. A Water sealed letter from your High
School will be accepted. Water sealed transcripts with the graduation date
will be accepted.
