Year Up is looking for ...

...motivated young adults who have a true interest in technology to fill the 45 seats in our upcoming class that starts March 2012. 

Year Up is:

·      A one year intensive education and training program for 18-24 year-old young adults

·      A free opportunity to earn up to 18 college credits and an educational stipend

·      6 months of course work in Business Communications, Information Technology and Professional Skills

·      6 months of a corporate internship position

Deadlines for admission:

·      Final deadline: January 3^rd

After School Program Fest 2011

 A free event for the community to showcase and increase the enrollment of youth in after school programs!

Saturday October 1, 2011 

John L. Yancey Boys & Girls Club

1pm to 4pm  

   CPS Students of all ages and their families are encouraged to attend.  

Free Buses will transport people to and from the event leaving from The Center of Change located at 63rd and California 

and

1210 W. 78th Pl.

– St. Sabina Rectory. 

To reserve a seat on a bus email your name, phone number, and the site you wish to get on the bus to yrcregion5communitycouncil@gmail.com or leave the info in a phone message at 773-476-3534 ext 245. Buses will leave 12:30pm and return no later than 6pm. Seating is limited so hurry!
